It’s been a while since I answered any fanmail, so here goes. As is tradition, I will be making up names for you guys.
Barry Muffletta: How much filming is there? Are there like a bunch of film crews running around the mansion?
We’re on camera 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are hidden cameras all over the mansion, plus film crews (whom we’re not allowed to interact with) present during most of the day. We get to relax a little bit on the weekends when the film crews leave, but there are always cameras on us and rolling.
Whatdus Ahahmean: So how does it feel being “famous”, ahah since you’re now on television?
While the experience of being in the mansion has led to some huge changes in my life, actually being on TV has hardly affected me at all. I don’t get recognized that much, and I just watch the show with a small group of my old friends. The biggest change is that now people actually read my blog, which makes me feel like my advice can actually make a difference in someone’s life. Floggy Tittlekins: Since you’re a mix of chinese and scandinavian, which side do you keep more in touch with? Like do you celebrate any chinese holidays, or even speak chinese?
I’m pretty Americanized. I grew up on Chinese food and still cook a lot of stir-fry, but we’ve really lost touch with my family’s heritage. Part of this comes from the fact that my parents were never that good at maintaining relationships, so I was never close with my extended family on either side. I would like to take some Chinese lessons when I have time, and I took a year of Norwegian at Berkeley in preparation for a trip to Scandinavia that will happen eventually.
Starry Wondereyes: Did Ankur give you any advice for your auditions?
He told me to tell Ashton that Demi has great boobs.
